Zero tolerance Law for Crime against women

The promise to empower half the population is the pledge of Modi Government and the President gave the sign of completing this promise in the next five years. President, Pranab Mukherjee said that the government is committed to provide the 33 percent reservation to women in Parliament and State Assemblies.

At the same time, there is also the planning to save the girls and to start the education campaign. The President said that if anyone do violence against the women, it is not tolerable. There is the adoption of zero tolerance policy for this.

He also said to strengthen the justice system. Although, this is the seventh government to raise the quotas for women in the last two decades.

This bill was presented in the first term of the UPA, but failed to pass. It is still waiting to get permission from the Lok Sabha. It comes a change in the work culture, in the public sector as well as in the corporate sector after the coming of Modi Government. But because of the carelessness of Police and Admisnistration, the misdemeanor with, the women are not less.

And this is the reason why President discussed on the zero tolerance factor.
